Weekend schedule for the three weeks of the festival. Students may participate in all classes. Please read about our curriculum to learn how students can tailor their experience at the festival to meet their needs.

Saturday schedule

Master Class— Three-hour class taught by our guest faculty that expand on Festival themes of alignment, efficiency, and range and focus on a particular movement idiom. Master classes are an opportunity for students to synthesize the information they have gathered over a week of classes and apply it to new and exciting material.

Dance on Campus Seminar (July 19th) — A panel of educators from leading college dance programs will join participants in discussing different approaches to college dance education.
Contact Improv Workshop (July 26th) — Discover, explore, and expand partnering choices and vocabulary in a spontaneous context. Develop and use improvisational and partnering skills. Will be followed by an (optional) improvisation jam and concert.

Guest Concert (July 19th) — A performance featuring dancers from the WMSDF resident company (WORKS/Laura Glenn Dance), seminar guests and Festival faculty.
Improv Jam (July 26th) — Use the improvisational skills you have learned during the festival in a fun (and optional) jam! Features live accompaniment by Festival musicians. (For festival participants only.)
